Our horses are central to the therapeutic services we can provide to adults and children across Sussex with any difficulty or disability. Riding therapy is known to improve confidence, co-ordination, self-esteem and fitness; but, above all of these benefits it is meant to be fun for those participating. However, we need help to meet the costs of keeping our horses. It costs £3,000 to £4,000 per year to look after each horse and any amount towards covering this cost would be gratefully received.

You can help by adopting a horse from as little as £10.00 per year. For this you would receive a certificate of adoption, photograph, details of your chosen horse and you can visit our centre to meet up.

Just £20.00 per year and you would also receive a Christmas card from your chosen horse and our newsletters.

For £50.00 per year, you will receive all of the above plus a free ride at our plant sales (May, June & September)*
£100.00 and you will receive the above plus a picture of you either sitting on or leading your adopted horse.

*Please note the ride may not be on your adopted horse (weight restrictions apply).

Puzzle

I tend to be the bold one. I gallop around and around. I’m always good when I am in lessons though!

Dillon

I’m a pony of many talents! Not only can I be ridden but I also pull the cart for those unable to ride.

Cavalier

I’m certainly the cheeky chap on the yard. I love causing chaos between all the others!

Drum

I may be a big boy but I really am just a gentle giant...a real softie!

Smartie

I really do live up to my name being very bright. I am also a very loving and sensible boy!
