Adopt a Ferring Country Horse

Our horses are central to the therapeutic services we can provide to adults and children across Sussex with any difficulty or disability. Riding therapy is known to improve confidence, co-ordination, self-esteem and fitness; but, above all of these benefits it is meant to be fun for those participating. However, we need help to meet the costs of keeping our horses. It costs £3,000 to £4,000 per year to look after each horse and any amount towards covering this cost would be gratefully received. test

You can help by adopting a horse from as little as £10.00 per year. For this you would receive:

  • a certificate of adoption,
  • photograph,
  • details of your chosen horse
  • and you can visit our centre to meet up.

Just £20.00 per year and you would also receive a Christmas card from your chosen horse and our newsletters.

For £50.00 per year, you will receive all of the above plus a free ride at our Event Days (if pony rides are available)*

£100.00 and you will receive the above plus a picture of you either sitting on or leading your adopted horse.

*Please note the ride may not be on your adopted horse (weight restrictions apply).
