This project commenced in October 2017 and the main build concluded in late March 2018, since then we have spent time  developing the area of land between the farm and the barns, 6 new paddocks have been created, along with a walk way to allow us to move animals without taking them into the public areas which in turn makes it easier and safer. The Barns were officially opened on the 12th July by Councillor Louise Goldsmith, The Leader of West Sussex County Council. It was a fabulous day, with the official opening in the afternoon, followed by an opening  party in the evening for all of our Day Service Customers.

The barns are a great addition to the Centre giving shelter to animals and Day Service Customers all year round .

After 32 years of service as a Trustee, Andrew Dales stood down at the Annual General Meeting. In recognition of his Service the farm will be renamed ‘Dales Farm’. On behalf of myself and the whole team at Ferring Country Centre, we would like to extend our thanks to Andrew for all that he has done.
