On 20th September our newly formed football team ‘the Ferring Falcons' entered the annual Aldingbourne Football Tournament.

Staff member Jessie Watkins, has been an inspiring coach for the Falcons, training with them and helping them understand the sporting skills, discipline, concentration and fair play needed for a successful football team.

The day started with our first team losing 2:1 against Aldingbourne yellow and blue, with Sam West scoring our only goal.

In our next match, Sean Lock scored a goal to draw against Strawford Sticks.

Our third game against Apuldram Amazons, took us to the final with a 4 nil win, with Sam West scoring a goal and Sean Lock scoring a hat trick!

Our final game was a hard fought game, ending with a 2:1 victory over Aldingbourne, who were the current unbeaten Champions.

The Ferring Falcons, who had only been playing as team for one month, were ecstatic to take home the cup.

The Falcons had a brilliant day and we would like to thank Aldingborne Trust for arranging a fantastic event, where sport brought us all together.
