About Our Day Service

Here at Ferring Country Centre, we are dedicated to enhancing lives, providing training to help assist adults with learning disabilties to gain employment  (either as a paid member of staff, or in a voluntary role), and to play a valued role in their communities through social inclusion.

Our service runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 3:30pm, with sessions available on a full or half day basis. Our facilities include two classrooms, disabled toilets, full hoisting equipment, a changing bed and wet room, an IT suite, a woodwork workshop, and a sensory room.

The activities we provide are designed to encourage customers to develop their abilites and confidence, and to enhance their social, communication and life skills.

Our support is tailored to each individual and is based on what they want to achieve. We offer both group support and individual support, on an assessed basis to suit the needs of the Customer.

If you want to refer someone, please use our Referral Service. Visits are always welcome.

Please email Dee Caulcutt, our Day Service Manager at [email protected] or speak to your Social Worker, Carer or PA and ask them to help you access the service
