Timings

Please note that the finishing time is approximate and we may run late.  It is difficult to give precise timings as we are at the mercy of the fire, how quickly it burns and how quickly everyone walks but this is a good approximation of our end time.

Please arrive at the venue 5-30 minutes in advance of the time stated below and on your tickets so that we can get you registered and settled in before we start.

Being Prepared

Do not consume any alcohol or substances that can impair your judgment. You will not be permitted to take part.

Do not wear tights, long skirts or dresses or anything flammable or that could melt such as polyester,  floaty or silky. This includes jackets.  You will be standing next to a very large fire and the heat is quite incredible.

Do not use any lotions, creams or any other foot moisturising products prior to the walk.  If your cream is medicinal then of course, let us know on the night.

Wear boots or shoes that are easy to take on and off. If you wear jeans or cotton trousers (make sure that you can roll the legs up about 4 inches above your ankle) Be careful with super skinnies!

Wear  bright, light colours. You’ll stand out much better against a dark background in any photos when you wear light colours.

It’s advisable to layers, you will be outside for portions of the workshop, it may very well might be cold or raining. It’s the UK after all.

Bring a waterproof jacket or at the very least something warm, a small towel and a spare pair of socks.

Spectators

We encourage you to invite along spectators such as family or friends for your moment of glory!
Please Note that spectators cannot join or watch the seminar - this is just for you. They will not be allowed near the fire site as, not only is this not safe, the fire is your space. This is for your safety and other firewalkers. There are plenty of places a little distance from the fire that they can watch easily and comfortably from.

Please ask your spectators to respect this and to follow the instructions of members of staff and Firewalk instructors. Our intention is only to keep everyone completely safe at all times.

It is absolutely fine to take photos and video, but again if you could ask them to please follow the instructions of the tenders and keep a safe distance from the fire and the fire site.
