Tournament raises £225 for Ferring Country Centre. Following the success of last year’s tournament, Will Redfern and Ramone Lawrence, from Capgemini, organised a super smash Brothers tournament that ran for a week at the end of March. Last October’s tournament raised an impressive £152 for our Riding Therapy Unit and the team from Capgemini wanted to do all they could, to support us again this year. The tournament started with 16 people and was held during their lunch breaks. 1st place was taken by Will, second place by Ramone and third place by Richard. The event was a huge success and was enjoyed by everyone who took part. On 30th May, Will and Ramone visited the Riding Therapy Unit and presented us with a donation of £225. We would like to thank Will, Ramone and everyone that took part in the tournament for their generous support. We would also like to Thank Will for nominating us for a Community Spirit Award. The Capgemini Community Spirit Awards support and celebrate the fantastic efforts of their people through cash prizes for their chosen charity or community group. We were delighted to receive notification that we were first round winners and a cheque for £152.00.
