Most people send cards, roses or chocolates on Valentine's Day, but it seems Cupid had a different kind of love in mind for us, and Jack stole our hearts when he arrived at Ferring Country Centre on the 14th February 2018.

Jack is a piebald Irish cob, standing at 13.1hh. Despite not being very tall, (he is in fact, our smallest pony!), Jack is well built and very strong.

Jack came to us from Brownbread Rescue Centre. At the time, they estimated that he was about 10 years old. Since his arrival, we have worked hard to continue the work started at the Rescue Centre, and by working closely with our vets, we have returned Jack to his full glory. Not only is Jack part of our team of Riding Therapy horses and ponies, but he has taken part in our Pony Club! He is pictured here dressed as a very dashing unicorn!

Jack has a very gentle nature, and loves to be groomed. He thrives during training sessions, and works very well with our Day Service Customers, standing patiently whilst our customers learn about equine anatomy, grooming and other horse husbandry skills. Jack is proving to be a reliable Riding Therapy horse, and will be an integral part of our team for years to come.
