JOB TITLE: Chef/Cook (part-time)

As our Chef/Cook you will prepare, produce and serve food in our onsite café, Ranger’s Café.

You will ensure that all food preparation is handled in accordance with food hygiene standards and in line with special dietary requirements.  You will also adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure the kitchen and dining surfaces are kept clean and tidy and kitchen equipment is maintained.

Normal hours will be 24 per week, working on a rolling rota basis, 3 days per week between Monday to Sunday.  Shifts will be 8.00am to 4.30pm (to include a half-hour unpaid break), with some additional days, events and Bank Holiday working as required.

Experience of working in a professional kitchen environment, together with a relevant qualification such as the Diploma in Professional Cookery Level 3 is essential.  A qualification in Level 2 Food Hygiene is desirable.
