  1. About Us
  2. Who We Are

Who We Are

We are a local, independent charity providing training and work experience for people with learning disabilities. Our customers develop better work and social skills by assisting us with the operation of our Riding Therapy Unit, Garden Centre, Rangers Café and Dales Farm.

Our Centre was founded in 1986 by a small group of parents, who saw the need for their children to attend a meaningful setting. Over 30 years later, we are still as committed to people with a learning disability being an active part of their community, and developing their skills and confidence.

Our Mission:

"To create positive futures for customers and enable them to play a valued role in society"

We are open 7 days a week to the general public – see the

Visitors

section for more information about visiting our Centre.
